Feedback after concert Przemysław Strączek & Chiao-Hua Chang on Czech Music Crossroads Festival

The concert by Przemysław Strączek & Chiao-Hua Chang as part of one of the largest world music festivals in the Czech Republic, Music Crossroads Ostravie, on May 21, was received very well. The duo represented Poland and the Silesia region. During this edition of the festival, musicians from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France and South Korea also presented themselves. The event was held in cooperation with many international cultural institutions. The duo was invited to participate by Katowice City of Gardens.

“The brilliant Polish guitarist Przemek Strączek found new inspiration for his extremely diverse and innovative music in a duet with Chiao-Hua Chang. It was a peaceful demonstration of full freedom of musical expression without any specific direction and strictly defined frames of form and time. Fleeting and poetic music like evening twilight. The beautiful sound of ethnic instruments, as well as the rare vocal of the talented instrumentalist and vocalist Chang, sounded captivating and unusual in combination with a velvety, revealing guitar full of spinning modulations”.
