Endless Mystery album premiere featuring world-famous saxophonist Andy Sheppard
On March 28, Przemysław Strączek’s new album Endless Mystery will officially premiere, featuring the world-famous British saxophonist, Andy Sheppard, associated with the prestigious ECM record label.
The Endless Mystery album is the result of several years of musical collaboration between Przemysław Strączek and Andy Sheppard, which began in 2019. After numerous joint concert tours, the aforementioned collaboration found its fulfillment in the recording studio. The album, which consists of the guitarist’s compositions, presents an atmosphere maintained in the character of European jazz, exploring melodicism, space, intense sounds and unexpected twists of action. The whole creates a complex and extremely engaging artistic narrative. The quartet captivates with its depth and variety of sound colors, creating a subtle harmonic ground for the characteristic tone of saxophonist Andy Sheppard. The sound of the album was supervised by Ignacy Gruszecki and Katsuhiko Naito, twice nominated for a Grammy Award.
